Five people died and several others were injured on Sunday when a Stallion bus overturned near Masumo Bridge, Samende area, Binga.

According to Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP), the bus was coming from Siabuwa to Binga when the accident occurred on Sunday morning.

“The ZRP confirms that five people were killed whilst the number of the injured is yet to be ascertained,” said police on its Twitter handle.

The names of the deceased are yet to be revealed.
