Tobaiwa wins Kwekwe Central

Citizens Coalition for Change’s Judith Tobaiwa has retained the Kwekwe Central Constituency seat after garnering 10 933 votes against her major rival Energy Ncube who got 6 541 votes.

The official results announced by Kwekwe Central Constituency Elections Officer Willard Fazhe tonight revealed that Tobaiwa had won the election with Derick Manwere of UZA getting 135 votes, Mbekezeli Ndhlovu of MDC T got 113.

“I therefore declare Judith Tobaiwa of CCC duly elected member of national assembly for Kwekwe Central Constituency,” said Fazhe.

Meanwhile, according to results posted by Zec at Kwekwe High Command Centre, CCC leader Nelson Chamisa polled 11 826 votes against Zanu PF Emmerson Mnangagwa who got 5 559 in Kwekwe Central Constituency.
