July Moyo buries Mukapiko

Zanu PF’s July Moyo roped to victory in a tightly contested poll in Redcliff where he emerged victor with 12 167 votes burying former grave digger Lloyd Dzikamai Mukapiko of CCC who got 10 352 votes.

Mukapiko was the sitting member of parliament for Redcliff for the past term after he initially trolled Moyo in the 2018 election.

Redcliff Constituency Elections Officer Sibusiso Bhebhe declared Moyo as the winner in poll announcements today.

An independent candidate Unique Kasiriwori got 211 votes whilst Shamairai Lister of UZA garnered 105 votes.

Bhebhe said 356 ballots were rejected and the percentage poll is 67.3%.
