A place of abundance

By Apostle Joy Museba

Psalm 66:12 KJV

“Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place.”

Psalm 66:12 ESV

“you let men ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water; yet you have brought us out to a place of abundance.”

These are the two deadly elements used by God to destroy. During the time of Noah the earth was destroyed by water and the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed by fire.

We are getting this illustration in the book of Psalm where a leader or king possibly Hezekiah was writing or speaking in the form of a psalm or song and he was saying we have gone through a season of fire and he went on to say we also went through a flood like, storm like, a season of water but at the end you brought us out to a place of abundance. You took us out to a wealthy place. This morning the Lord is going to bring His people out of the fire and out of the water. He is not just going to bring them out He is bringing them out to a place of abundance, a wealthy place.

Do not forget this is your scripture for deliverance. Your financial storm is going to be over.

Psalm 66:12 NLT

“Then you put a leader over us. We went through fire and flood, but you brought us to a place of great abundance.”

Is it not clear that it is Him that brings people out of the fire and out of the floods? It is Him that delivers them to a place of great abundance.

I am here for a person who can describe his or her situation as a flood and as going through fire where when you are given a chance to explain you tell people it never rains but it pours. You tell people that all hell broke loose over my life. You tell people that if there is anyone that has been hurt no one can explain more than me. If you went through fire you are the right person. If you went through a flood, you are the right person because God has a message for you today. He is saying your season of going through fire is over. Your season of going through floods is over. You may not remain an average individual after going through all that you have gone through.

God wants to put you to a place of abundance, a place of great abundance, a wealthy place. As I am speaking some people have considered suicide because of the things they are going through. Some contemplated on divorcing because of what they have gone through. Some people want to quit this country, not migrate but leave because of pain and the things they have gone through. Where they are going they know not what they will do but they just feel that they should leave because this storm is not coming to an end. The fire is coming to an end. You are there sitting and saying I do not know what will become of me. The fact that God allowed you to go through the fire and He kept you through the storms and fire, you must know that the same God is going to take you to a place of abundance a wealthy place, great abundance.

Life has seasons and when you go through a season of torture, financial and emotional harassment, do not consider that season to be a season that defines who you are. It is not there to define you but refine you. There are seasons that God would let us go through for our refinement.

He will let you.

God will let you go through seasons.

God will let you go through a season of fire and a season of flood.

That season does not define who you are but that season may refine you, polish you.

Psalm 66:12  MSG

There are seasons where you are taken for a road test and you are being tested but you are not defined but refined as a mineral that is put inside the water. You can not go to a place of abundance unless you are refined. He took us to hell and back. You know marriage is not a bed of roses. It is a road test, inside and out. But finally if you believe in God, He will bring you back from hell and He will deliver you to a well watered place.

Psalm 66:8-12 KJV

“Bless our God, O peoples! Give him a thunderous welcome! Didn’t he set us on the road to life? Didn’t he keep us out of the ditch? He trained us first, passed us like silver through refining fires, Brought us into hardscrabble country, pushed us to our very limit, Road-tested us inside and out, took us to hell and back; Finally he brought us to this well-watered place.”

A season does not come to define you, you are refined by the season. Some of you that are here there was nothing that was going to bring you here, if it was not the fire you would not be here. It is only fire, a flood, a storm that brought you here. What God does is He does not give you trouble, He lets you to go through the fire so that you are refined. When you are going through trouble that trouble does not define who you are, it refines you, polishes you to be a person of high value and you represent all you represent in this life because of that refinement. You can’t be in a wealthy place unless you are trained. You can not be there unless you are polished for it otherwise abundance can kill you.

If you could afford any woman would you keep to your wife? But if you are refined you just see and know that this is not yours.

Psalm 66:2-3 KJV

“Sing forth the honour of his name: make his praise glorious. Say unto God, How terrible art thou in thy works! through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee.”

We serve a terrible God. He is a terrible God and when He is dealing with enemies they have no choice but to submit; so your poverty, your sickness your rejection, your affliction should submit to the terrible God.You went through fire, through a flood but God is clear that after fire and a flood He will bring them to a wealthy place, to a place of abundance. God is ready to bring you to a place of abundance, abundance of love, abundance of wealth, abundance of peace, abundance of joy.

If you lost your job and couldn’t get any after, if you lost your business and could not get back again; if you lost opportunities and did not get more, God wants to bring you to a place of abundance, a place of wealth. Those who have been going through fire, storms and floods God is about to announce the storm is over.

The disaster that has been brought by the fire is over and God wants to bring you to a place of abundance.

Your doors are opening up!

Your gates are opening up!

You are being taken by the Lord to a place of wealth, a place of abundance.

I declare this in the name of Jesus!

They will remember you because the moment we announce that doors and gates are open in a wealthy place they will know that the God we serve is Jehovah. He does what He says and He says what He can do. He is able to perform all that He promises. As I declare right now I know that those who have been through fire and through floods God is bringing them to a place of abundance. There is an anointing of wealth, an oil of wealth that is going to break iron bars asunder, that is going to open gates and reveal treasures that are hidden. If you have never driven a car, never owned a stand there is something God is doing. If you have never owned a business there is something great and unusual. It is from this service that you will board planes as often as you want because your gates have been opened. As we open gates any kind of evil spirit that has been standing in front of your opportunities will check out.

I am against any season of fire.

I am against any season of flood.

I declare that God is opening your gates.

He is delivering you to a wealthy place.

He is bringing you to a place of abundance.

It is your season.

It is your time.

Abundance refers to large numbers so we are not talking of one house, car, business, ministry. Everything you lost you were just going through refinement. He will bring you to a place of abundance.
