In his address, Mujanga applauded the college for its role in complementing Zimbabwe’s public education system, particularly in areas where formal schools are unable to accommodate all learners. He commended the institution for its commitment to inclusivity, saying, “Our formal schools are not enough to accommodate learners, and I commend W. Booms College for complementing government efforts in ensuring no learner is left behind.”

Speaking to a gathering of school heads from neighboring institutions, teachers, parents, and students, Mujanga expressed deep gratitude to the teaching staff for their dedication and the vital role they play in shaping the future.

“Your unwavering commitment to nurturing and guiding these young minds is truly commendable. You have instilled values that will serve our students well beyond the classroom walls,” he said.

Mujanga also extended appreciation to the parents, whose support and encouragement have been pivotal to the students’ success. He stressed that the accomplishments celebrated during the ceremony were the result of a collective effort, saying, “Your belief in your children is the foundation upon which their success is built.”

The prize-giving ceremony saw numerous students recognized for their academic achievements, with Mujanga reminding both the recipients and their peers that awards symbolize much more than just trophies or certificates.

“Each award presented here represents countless hours of study, perseverance, and the courage to strive for excellence,” he remarked.

He also offered words of encouragement to students who did not receive awards, emphasizing that success is not solely defined by accolades but by personal growth and the lessons learned along the way. “Every effort counts, and success is measured by your personal growth and the resilience you show in the face of challenges,” Mujanga stated.

Mujanga urged students to carry the spirit of the day with them into the future, encouraging them to dream big, work hard, and recognize the power of their potential to make meaningful contributions to the world.
