A Zhombe man from Village Titos, Chief Ntabeni was slapped with six months imprisonment for having sexual intercourse with a female goat.
Thabani Dube (23) had two months of his sentence suspended for four years when he appeared before Kwekwe Magistrate Mildred Matuvi. Magistrate Matuvi also suspended four months on the condition that Dube performs community service for 140 hours at Ntabeni Primary School.
The State represented by Nyasha Hloka heard that on the 26th of August 2023, Dube went to the Vhuma homestead, Village Titos, Zhombe around 2100 hours where he got in the kraal and started having sexual intercourse with the female goat.
The owner of the goat Silindilwe Vhuma caught Dube in the act and ran away leaving his shoes behind.
Vhuma informed Dube’s mother Viola Moyo about her son’s escapades. A police report was made leading to his arrest.
