Six people died when a plane they were travelling in crashed in Zvamahande area near Mashava early morning today.

Police confirmed that four foreign nationals and two Zimbabweans died when the Zcam aircraft crashed.

“ZRP reports that a plane crush occured on 29 September 2023 between 0730 and 0800hours where six people are confirmed dead.

The Murowa Diamond Company (RioZim) owned white and red Zcam aircraft had left Harare for the mine at 0600hours and crashed abt 6km from Mashava,” said Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi.

It could not be ascertained what caused the crush by the time of going to print.
