A Kwekwe taxi driver killed himself yesterday at a bush near Poto Shops, Mbizo 17.

According to Zimbabwe Republic the body omwas found hanging from a tree branch on 19 February 2024 at about 1800 hours at Mbizo 17, Kwekwe.

It was reported that, the deceased Darlington Chijunda (52) phoned his wife and informed her that he was going to commit suicide in Mbizo 17 bushy area. “The wife, deceased’s relatives and neighbours went to the bushy area and conducted a search. They found Darlington Chijunda hanging from a tree branch, said Midlands Police Spokesperson Emmanuel Mahoko.

The body was taken to Kwekwe General Hospital mortuary.
