Uplifting ladies conference on cards

A unique gathering of women is set to take place where ladies will get time to renew their minds, body and soul through life changing teachings and worship sessions.New Creation Life Ministries International (NCL) will be holding its annual ladies conference from 10-14 August this year at Mkoba Teachers’ College in Gweru.

The theme for the conference is “my cup runneth over” derived from the Bible in the book of Psalms 23:5 which reads “you prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You honour me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings.”

Women from all walks of life and ages will gather at the teachers’ college to garner knowledge from the host, Pastor Mary Museba. Pastor Mary is wife to the visionary and founder of NCL, Apostle Joy Museba.

This year’s conference will feature two guests, Thubelihle Ndlovu and Odiline Kava. Thubelihle is a social entrepreneur, consultant banker and microfinance practitioner who is passionate about women and youth empowerment. She founded Purse on Point Africa an organisation that trains African women on financial literacy.

Odiline Kava is a strategic marketing professional who loves building brands. She holds a Masters in Business Administration, BBA Degree in Marketing Management, IMM Diploma in Marketing amongst other qualifications. Renowned worshippers Mr and Mrs Ellard Cherai will also be there to usher the ladies in deep worship.

Last year, the inaugural edition of the ladies conference was held at Kwekwe High school under the theme “wise woman in town.”Those who attended this initial gathering continue to share a number of testimonies of the impact the conference had on different aspects of their lives.

“The wise woman in town camp was the best, we worshipped God and were taught on how as wise women we should approach all situations softly and not be argumentative but to be calm always. I have been applying this in my relationships, at work and even in my marriage and it is doing wonders. Your life will never be the same after attending these conferences I tell you,” said Mrs. Zvandasara.

Ennet Chiramba who also attended last year’s conference had this to say,“last year we were taught to be bold and fearless and I’m looking forward to this year’s conference and for another chance to learn from the best. I have seen Pastor Mary’s teachings transform people’s lives; this camp is the best place to be this August.”

The ministry was founded in 2011 and aims to influence communities and nations to conform into the image of Christ through preaching and teaching new creation realities, building families and molding dreams beyond set limits.  NCL is currently in the process of constructing the biggest church building in Kwekwe. The two storey building, the first of its kind is scheduled to open doors in October this year.
