Zanu PF wins Kwekwe council by elections

Three Zanu PF members who contested in the 3 February 2024 Kwekwe local government by election emerged winners.

The three, Tapiwanashe Muganhu, Judah Chimombo and Solomon Matsa will bring to six the number of Zanu PF councilors in the council.

Muganhu who was facing Melody Chingarande of CCC in Ward 5 garnered 592 votes against  569.

Chimombo got 573 votes against Proud Ndhlovu of CCC who had 126 in Ward 9 whilst Matsa in Ward 10 got 776 against Reveous Njerera of CCC who garnered 134.
