A decomposing corpse was found yesterday at Amaveni Cemetery.

The body of a male aged around 22 years was discovered at the graveyard drawing the attention of Amaveni residents who jostled to have a look at the corpse.

It is suspected that the deceased committed suicide by hanging as a rope was allegedly found at the scene.

Amaveni Ward 8 Councillor Makomborero Mlambo confirmed the discovery.

“Yes i heard that a body was discovered in the cemetery nd it is suspected that the person committed suicide but I am yet to get full details on the issue,” he said.
