A  33 -year-old Gokwe woman was arrested on Monday after she allegedly drained blood from a 10 year old juvenile using a syringe at Gokwe town on 26 May 2025 at about 1000 hours.

Midlands Police Spokesperson Inspector Emmanuel Mahoko confirmed the arrest.

Inspector Mahoko said   Mavis Sibanda was at her market place in Gokwe town when she allegedly committed the offence.

“It is alleged, she called a 10 year old girl who was passing – by and injected her with a needle,” said Inspector Mahoko.

Sibanda was arrested and is in police custody as investigations are being done.
